The time finally arrived, the most anticipated tournement in recent years took place right here in the Costa del Tonbridge. The tournement that settled once and for all the argument Which celebrity would win in a paper scissors stones tournement? The results are in all votes have been counted. Scroll down to find out The Champion.
THE RULES
The rules were simple, there was 32 keen celebrities that took part. Each was randomly put into a group of 4, which made up 8 groups of 4 (Groups A -H) Each celebrity played against the other 3 celebrities in their group in a league system. 3pts for a win 1pt for a draw and 0 for a loss. The top 2 celebrities from each group then entered a knock out stage until there was 1 winner. The groups are shown below. Matches were decided by votes from viewers of this website. They didn't just vote for their favourite celebrity but had to think about it logically and think why a certain celebrity would win the match, things they had to think about for example is Jeremy Beadle has a dodgy hand so can only play stone each time, David Blunkett is blind so cheating can occur, some may have magic powers and Edward Scissorhand, well thats obvious. In the Group stages when 4 votes was recieved on 1 match the match is over and the results was displayed. So a 2-2 draw was possible. In the knock out stage it was best out of 5 (Or first to 3) so when a celebrity recieved 3 votes they were the winner of that match. The Semi finals was best of 9 (or first to 5) and the final was best of 17 (first to 9) Hope that all makes sense. Now lets meet the celebrities who took part: -
