On 5th May 2005 Adam Edwards,
Peter Hill, Adam Thoroughgood, Mickey Hill and Nathan Duffield attempted
another drinking challenge. The idea of "Capital Spoonathon"
is to drink in as many London Wetherspoons as you can in a day. The
group was split in the decision of whether a Lloyds bar counts as a
wetherspoons or not and there was many heated discussions about it but
Peter did the research for this challenge and he didn't include any
information of any Lloyds bar's so we stuck to traditional spoons. As
expected this challenge proved harder than the circle line because on
that challenge you got off the tube and found the nearest pub, this
time the nearest pub was not neccesary a spoon's, so we had a lot of
walking and travelling to do. I think we did pretty well to visit 22
pubs.
