Well... being a girl I wasn't allowed on any of the actual merriment, but I can give an account of what I saw/heard during the day. All seemed to be going well. Got a text from Pete about midday saying they were in their 5th pub. Going well... good lads. All then went quiet for most of the day. Lynne then got a text from Pete saying who was on the Spoonathon. It included all the expected names and an added "Lucy is nice". So, obviously bewildered by the mention of a GIRL at the pub crawl, she asked who she was. and the reply was this "The barman from one of the pubs... I'm in love with her" hmmm... curious... but best not to ask too many questions, methinks. Well, anyhow... myself, Lynne, Lisa and Kate (the Elementettes) went to SOS. A bit after midnight, B'Good and Pete arrived. Pete had a rather bad limp and proceeded to hug everyone and attempt to get high fives off anyone he could. When asked what had happened to him he told us some vague story about running into a glass wall. He also showed us a pic of his sick (um.. nice). We asked where everyone else had got to. Apparently Nathan left halfway through the Spoonathon and everyone else had gone home to "rub off" - whatever THAT means?! Well... it sounded like good fun was had by all. B'Good didn't seem to have been too affected by all the hours of drinking - but it has to be said, Pete was smashed. On the way back to mine and Lynne's house (yup, he managed to convince us to let him crash at ours), Pete managed to get a great deal of amusement wheeling a Sainsbury's trolley up the High Street. Not sure what happened to that!
